BCON26: Creating and Working with Large Scenes

BCON26BCON26

After skipping a year for working fully on my PhD, it is once again time for another Blender Conference in Amsterdam! This year, I am holding a talk about how to create and work with large static scenes inside Blender, such as those distributed with the PBRT ray-tracing framework.

If any of this is of interest, feel free to come by the Developer Attic on September at 10:30 or tune in after Friday the 25th on YouTube.

This presentation builds on the work shown at BCON24 that focused on how to create the parsing framework and importer and exporter extensions for the PBRT scene format. While beneficial background for this work, those details are not necessary knowledge for this presentation. However, for those interested in those aspects please have a look at my publications page.
